Gansango artists will present a combined performance and interactive dance workshop for families at Experience Music Project (EMP) | Science Fiction Museum (SFM) on Saturday August 21 from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Due to the recent death of Etienne’s beloved step-mother Tahnyi, he will be traveling to Benin 7-27 to 8-19 for her funeral and to celebrate her life with his family. There will be no African dance classes offered in the interim. African dance classes with Etienne will resume Wednesday Aug 25 at 10am. May Tahnyi’s soul rest in peace.
