Summertime = Storytime!

Etienne and master storyteller Won-Ldy Paye will perform a series of free public storytelling shows & workshops as part of the Public Library’s Summer Reading Program:

Tues 7-19 10:30 NorthEast Branch – “The Talking Vegetables”
Wed 7-20 11:15 Magnolia Branch – Drumming workshop
Thurs 7-21 10:00 Douglass Truth Branch – “The Talking Vegetables”
Sat 7-23 11:00 Sammamish – “Masks of the Rainforest”
Ties 7-26 6:30 New Holly Branch – “The Talking Vegetables”
Thur 7-28 2:00 Redmond Branch – “Masks of the Rainforest”
Sat 7-30 11:30 Northgate Branch – Drumming workshop
Wed 8-3 11:00 Burien Library – “Masks of the Rainforest”

Free, all ages event. Number of drums at the two drumming workshops will be limited, so bring your own if you have one.


Guest Teacher Charles Ahovissi

Guest master dancer Charles Ahovissi from Benin is visiting Seattle and will teach a class for the public with live drumming.  All levels welcome – $15/class
